Vyxel Apps

Vyxel Apps is a free and open-source app store that allows you to access more than a dozen different sources, including GitHub, F-Droid, IzzyOnDroid, Codegerg, TapTap, APKPure, and Flathub, among many others. You will be able to download any APK you want and easily install it on your device. And if you're not sold on a particular version, you can always return to the previous version.

No login, no registration

You don't need to log in to download apps from Vyxel Apps . What you can do is enter your GitHub token in order to make precise searches for apps. But this isn't necessary. You will be able to download and install almost any app without needing to enter any information. If you have Shizuku installed, you will also be able to install them more quickly without having to confirm the installation process for each one.

A very complete apps catalog

From Vyxel Apps's main screen, you will be able to take a quick look at all the available apps. If you want, you can also sort all the apps by source. This way, you will only see the apps that are available on GitLab, Codeberg, or TapTap. You can also use the search box to quickly find any app or browse through the various categories, including games, productivity, security, multimedia, and so on.

My experience with Vyxel Apps

Having alternatives is always good, which is why I love that apps like Vyxel Apps exist, since it allows you to download apps from tons of different repositories. What's more, it includes tons of open-source apps, which is also something I really appreciate. Especially if you take into account that it's possible to customize the app so that it only shows FOSS repositories.

The best and worst of Vyxel Apps

• What I like most about Vyxel Apps is being able to choose from more than a dozen different app repositories to download from, most of them mainly for open-source apps.

• What I like least about Vyxel Apps is that, to download many apps, you have to log into Google Play, which is something I don't like doing on third-party apps.

Download tons of FOSS apps

Download Vyxel Apps's APK to open the door to an entire universe of open-source apps. Thanks to this app, you can download and install thousands upon thousands of APKs from dozens of different sources. Best of all, you get to decide where you want to download from.
